cooperation: working from shared goals and perspectives
collaboration: sharing, exchange, and openness with the purpose of building on foundations, creativity, or productivity
teamwork: not merely cooperative but highly coordinated with special communication and cognitive skills. intimate acquaintance with one another’s knowledge, motivations, physical capabilities; responding instantly and together as a unit; recalculating on the fly in the face of sudden situational changes, unexpected threats, and each others’ unforeseen failures and successes; clear signaling to one another what course of actions to take.
